It's finally midterm time

For me, this was a nerve racking time. Getting my first set of grades for my classes in college was a scary thought. I suspected I was doing well and for the most part knew about where I was grade wise in each class. My midterm grades reflected what I thought. In one or two classes I thought my grade was a tiny bit higher, but not much different. I'm doing very well at this time and it makes me very happy and motivated to keep it up and do even better by finals.

I think my grades were good because I really focused and I had good time management. Luckily I had nothing else going on such as a job, sport, group, etc. so I had all the time I needed to complete my work and study for things. Also, I knew that coming into college the work was going to be much different from my work in high school. So I put high expectations on my work and completed the work the right way instead of trying to just complete it to say I did it. I make myself a to do list and prioritize my time very well.

For the remainder of the semester a goal I want to set for myself is to keep my grades up and improve them even more. I would really like to make Dean's list so I always keep that goal in the back of  my mind. I also want to get more involved in the school community with a group or club.
