I'm really excited for the final video project. I really like the topic because it is very open and it's all about me. Most people like the idea because they think it's easy. I don't think that, I think it is very complex and it will be beneficial to show these videos to future incoming freshmen here at SCSU. These videos I feel can help them a lot and teach them things about school and the new environment they will be living in.
My Proposal:
I would like to focus my video on the problem of the low involvement rate on and around campus. I will offer many solutions to the problem and have different interviews of students that are both commuters and students who live on campus to explain what they think about the issue, or if they even think it's an issue at all and to have them share possible ideas and solutions as well. I will also maybe present some information about other universities and see how they get their involvement rate to be so high, or higher than ours here at SCSU. My video will consist of a lot of interviews and maybe a little research but there's not much I can really research about this problem.

Opening/ title
Middle (interviews, pictures, slides of information, statistics, etc..)
Strong conclusion/ solution to the problem/ tie everything together

Sounds good. You can do a lot of research about the solution, finding out what there is to be involved in on campus and how people go about getting involved and what difference that makes. I suggest interviewing someone in the Office that is in charge of all the clubs on campus.
