The first professional blog I searched was a Dance Blog. Dancing is my favorite hobby so I thought it would be interesting to see the different things people write and share with others in the dance community. This specific blog post was about 7 highly effective habits in ballet training. This post looked interesting to me because I used to take ballet for many years and know all the ballet terms they were referring to. I really liked how this blog was presented, the colors were attractive and I liked how they made bullet points instead of just writing a long boring paragraph about all of it. Also the use of large pictures makes the blog look really good and really stands out.
The second blog I searched was cooking blogs because I enjoy cooking and learning how to make new and different kinds of foods. For the love of cooking was the name of the blog. There are many pictures and recipes to look at and on the side there are categories of different types of foods, sauces, side dishes, desserts, etc. The different blogs give a list of the items you will need to make each thing and then explains how to make it. This seemed like a helpful yet fun and creative way of displaying different recipes and instructions.
This blog was different from the dance blog because the way of presenting the information on each was different. In the dance blog the information was presented in a way that was glitzy and eye catching and the food blog was more neutral toned and relaxed. I really liked how both blogs didn't just type long paragraphs of information about the topic, they separated it up making it look easier to read. Reading and looking through professional blogs has given me a chance to see how to make my blog posts look different and more interesting instead of the same every week.
