From conducting my own time management chart I have learned that I really don't have 70 hours of free time. This makes it harder for me so I have to manage my time more closely and carefully. In reality I spend about 2-3 hrs. a day doing homework and studying, as of now. I feel that my work load is going to continue to get heavier and my work time will soon increase to many more hours.
I have so many distractions because my room mates and I are all really good friends so we enjoy spending time together. I also stay up very late at night which causes me to want to take many naps through out the day and that also poses as a distraction from my work. Facebook, email, twitter, and texting all distract me as well. I probably spend the most time during my day socializing with friends or in my room on Facebook etc. A majority of my time somedays I actual spend in classes and learning all day. I have been trying so hard lately to really focus and get my work done so that I can go out with ease knowing my work is complete and I have nothing to stress about. The feeling of having no weight on your shoulders is the best feeling in the world and that's what I reach for each time I sit down to do my work, just completing my work and everything I need done so I can relax. One thing I do to help me plan my time is I make a "To Do" list of all the assignments I have been assigned that week or any on-going assignments I may have and plan out each day which I should get done first or how much I feel I should get done at the time.
I think I need to change or improve my time management habits by getting to sleep earlier in the night so that each day when I wake up I'm not exhausted. This will make me less tempted to take hour long naps when I could be spending that time on doing homework or studying.
